Kamis, 02 Mei 2024. Ada kegiatan yang menarik di sekolahan, khususnya kelas dua, yaitu memasak. Kegiatan memasak ini dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok. Ada kelompok yang bertugas memasak tempe. Ada pula yang bertugas memasak sayur kangkung. Sebagian peralatan memasak, dibawa sendiri dari rumah oleh anak-anak. Sedangkan bahan makanan yang dimasak disediakan oleh sekolahan. Termasuk kangkung, yang sudah ditanam di sekolah jauh hari sebelum pelaksanaan kegiatan memasak.
Ada hal menarik saat kegiatan memasak berlangsung. Diawali dari memanen tanaman kangkung. Setelah itu, kangkung dipotong dan dipilih. Selanjutnya dicuci. Saat anak-anak sedang mencuci kangkung, terlihat Daffa berjalan menunduk melewati Ustaz Aruf.
“Loh, Daffa mau ke mana?”
“Mau ke ruang situ, Ustaz,” jawab Daffa sambil menunjuk ruang kosong dekat kamar mandi.
“Mau apa, Daffa?”
“Mau kentut, Ustaz.”
“Astagfirullah, kirain Ustaz mau apa. Ya sudah, silakan Daffa!”
“Baik, Ustaz.”
Alhamdulillah, beberapa anak sudah menunjukkan sikap tahu diri. Walaupun tercermin dalam hal kecil. Daffa, salah satu anak yang telah menunjukkannya. Ia tahu harus bagaimana memosisikan dirinya saat buang angin. Walaupun kelihatannya sepele, Bapak dan Ibu Guru sangat mengapresiasinya. Kerja bagus, Daffa!
