Bakda isya. Sebuah pesan WhatsApp masuk. Berisi kiriman foto anak yang memakai sarung sedang duduk bersila di atas sajadah. Empat menit berselang, chat cukup panjang mengekor. Berikut isinya:

“Cerita hari ini.

Kekaguman saya sama tim SD Hida 2. Entah cerita apa, dari siapa, Fillio selalu minta dibangunkan Tahajud dan (sahur) puasa. Baru wacana tapi mamanya gak tega membangunkan Tahajud.

Tadi pagi pas nglilir, pas mamanya salat, sudah gak bisa mengelak lagi. Fillio langsung pipis (karena nglilir mau pipis) lanjut ambil wudu dan salat.

Masyaallah, pingin nangis tadi. Masih selalu ngeyel minta puasa. Mamanya yang belum tega.

Matur nuwun, Bapak dan Ibu Guru. Perubahannya sangat drastis untuk Fillio 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🥰.”

Biasanya ada getar rasa khawatir jika menerima chat panjang dari wali murid. Khawatir ada hal yang kurang berkenan. Alhamdulillah, sebelum chat panjang itu, ada kiriman foto, sehingga saya berkesimpulan chat panjang itu masih terkait foto yang dikirim. Ternyata benar adanya.

Bak tersiram embun pagi, hati ini berdesir sejuk membaca untaian kata dari pengirim pesan, Mama Fillio. Dalam benak, menurut saya tak ada hal khusus yang kami—para guru—lakukan di kelas.

Sebagaimana hari-hari yang telah berjalan, rutinitas pagi sebelum tahfiz, para guru menanyakan pelaksanaan salat wajib anak-anak. Pagi itu, ditanyakanlah salat Subuh. Ada yang angkat tangan, ada pula yang tidak angkat tangan karena belum melaksanakan salat. Beberapa anak yang telah angkat tangan menyampaikan jika mereka juga melaksanakan salat sunah yang lain. Ada yang salat sunah Fajar, Tahajud, dan/atau Witir.

Anak saleh salihah itu bersemangat menceritakan pengalaman mereka menunaikan salat sunah. Rupanya, semangat itu pun menjalar ke Fillio hingga ia terketuk hatinya.

Kembali saya cermati pesan di atas. Oh, ternyata, bukan hanya karena pengaruh teman-temannya. Hal paling kuat yang menyebabkan kebaikan ini adalah teladan orang tua. Ya, Fillio mengamati kebiasaan orang tuanya.

Saya jadi teringat apa yang disampaikan oleh seorang guru senior di SD Islam Hidayatullah, yang kala itu (2017) menjabat sebagai WKS Kurikulum: “Visi LPI Hidayatullah Semarang adalah Memadukan zikir, pikir, ikhtiar. Menyemai benih insan khairu ummah.” Beliau menganalogikan dengan proses penyemaian tanaman padi. Sekolah adalah lahan semai setelah bibit siap ditabur. Dalam proses semai itu ada penyiraman, pemupukan, penyiangan, dan perawatan agar benih tumbuh subur sebagaimana seharusnya. Sisanya, keluargalah yang paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap perkembangan anak.
