Merupakan rangkaian proyek kelas 2 adalah memasak. Kegiatan memasak dilaksanakan di depan kamar mandi putra. Kompor yang tersedia ada 4, sedangkan jumlah kelompoknya ada 7, maka kegiatan memasak dilaksanakan 2 tahap.
Kelompok 2 putra mendapat giliran memasak tahap kedua. Kelompok ini beranggotakan Itaf, Rayya, Kennard, dan Hafidz. Sebelum memasak, Hafidz membaca resep yang tertulis pada bungkus puding.
“Gulanya dimasukkan ke panci dulu,” kata Hafidz.
“Kalau sudah bercampur dengan puding baru kasih air,” imbuh Itaf.
Mereka bergantian mengaduk. Setelah semua bahan siap di dalam panci, mereka mengangkat dan menumpangkan panci di atas tungku. Kembali mereka mengaduk bahan puding secara bergantian.
“Diaduk terus, ya, agar tidak mengendap!” pesan Bu Amik.
“Ya, Bu’” jawab mereka.
Di dekat mereka ada sekotak KOKO KRUNCH.
“Ini yang bawa siapa?” tanya Bu Amik sambil menunjuk KOKO KRUNCH.
“Saya, Bu,” jawab Kennard.
“Kok, pakai KOKO KRUNCH?”
“Nanti kalau sudah matang, atasnya dikasih ini,” jawab Kennard.
Beberapa menit kemudian, Hafidz bertanya, “Bu, ini sudah matang?”
“Sudah. Itu sudah matang. Sudah mendidih,” jawab Bu Amik.
“Terus dimasukkan ke sini?” tanya Itaf sambil menunjuk ke loyang puding.
“Iya. Tapi kompornya dimatikan dulu.”
“Oke.”
Setelah tidak ada nyala api di kompor, mereka menuangkan puding yang masih cair ke dalam cetakan dengan menggunakan sendok sayur. Mereka melakukannya secara bergiliran sesendok demi sesendok. Mulai dari Hafidz, Rayya, Kennard, kemudian Itaf. Begitu seterusnya sampai adonan puding habis.
Setelah adonan puding di panci tertuang semua, Kennard pun menambahkan KOKO KRUNCH di atasnya. Sambil sesekali ia makan KOKO KRUNCH yang di bawanya. Hafidz juga menambahkan meses yang dibawanya di atas puding di cetakan yang lain.
“Eh, siapa yang mau …?” tanya Kennard dengan suara agak keras sambil menunjukkan KOKO KRUNCH-nya.
“Aku mau,” kata Qaleed. Kemudian disusul teman yang lain. Tidak hanya untuk toping, tetapi juga dimakan langsung.
“Siapa yang mau ini?” tanya Hafidz kepada temannya sambil mengangkat mesesnya.
“Aku mau,” kata Cemara.
Puding milik teman-teman menjadi puding yang ber-toping, meski mereka tidak membawa bahan toping. Itu karena ada Kennard dan Hafidz, yang mau berbagi.
